"This internship has definitely moved me a step closer to my end goal because it allowed me to make connections with those in law enforcement. Additionally, I learned hands-on skills that I will hopefully use in my career, specifically the K-9 handling and training ones."
With her eyes set on a career in law enforcement, political science major, Kayla Kenehan 鈥20 did her senior internship with the Massachusetts State Police (MSP) Fire and Explosions Unit. Her experience involved working with highly-trained K-9s in situations such as a New England Patriots game at Gillette Stadium and working at Logan International Airport. Kenehan鈥檚 hands-on experience provided her with useful knowledge and valuable connections that will carry into her future career.

"My advice for future 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 interns is to do an internship that鈥檚 outside of your comfort zone. I was encouraged by the Endicott internship faculty and my professors to give it a try and I鈥檓 so happy I did."
Hospitality major, Julia McIntyre 鈥20 spent her first two internships working at event planning venues, but was unsatisfied. As a senior, she decided to switch things up and intern with the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston. Here, she discovered a love for the dynamic hotel environment, and a newfound passion for marketing.

"I know that being able to make a difference in my community, and seeing those changes I contributed to, left a big impact on me. I know I want to make a positive change in my world, this internship helped me discover that."
Senior Political Science major, Patrick Whalen, completed his semester-long internship at the Massachusetts State House. Working alongside State Representative Michael J. Soter, Whalen gained perspective on the inner workings of a government organization. He explained that being immersed in the state government left a positive lasting impression on him.
